Review request automation

Social proof in the form of product reviews is incredibly important for building trust with prospective buyers and helping them make an informed purchase. It's also helpful for you to gather feedback on your products to improve them based on your customers' needs. With the review request automation, you have an automated way to reach out to your subscribers and ask them to leave a review for recently purchased products.

Seguno does not directly collect reviews and is designed to work alongside a review application such as Shopify's Product Reviews or another review collection application. The Review request automation sends a message to subscribers who recently had an order fulfilled and directs them back to your site, where they can leave a review through your review app.

Start by installing a review app. Seguno does not interact directly with the review app, so that any review app will work.

If you're using Shopify's Product Reviews app, connect through your Seguno settings to add your product ratings to your emails.

Once your review app is configured, navigate to your Automations tab and select the Review request automation.

From the Automation overview, edit the timing for when to send the email based on the order fulfillment date.

Timing should be based on your typical shipping timeframe and enough time for the buyer to get initial impressions while still having new-buyer excitement.

Customers or specific products can be excluded from your review requests email in the Exclusions section.

For your customer's convenience, customize the review request email and update the anchor tag to take them directly to the review form on your site.

Please refer to these common review anchor tags list or reach out to support if you are unfamiliar with anchor tags or need a little help.

Be sure to avoid sending duplicate review requests if your review app sends request emails.

This feature is only available to paid Seguno users, but free users can access this feature immediately by upgrading early and starting a 10-day free trial.
