Review request automation
Social proof in the form of product reviews is incredibly important for building trust with prospective buyers and helping them make an informed purchase. It's also helpful for you to gather feedback on your products so you can improve them based on the needs of your customers. The hard part is getting customers to leave those precious reviews. With the review request automation, you have an automated way to reach out to your subscribers and ask them to leave a review for recently purchased products.
The automation will send after a set period of time after an order has been fulfilled. Your timing options are 1, 2, 4, or 6 weeks after fulfillment. It is recommended you choose a number that's slightly longer than your average (or max) shipping time so the recipient has likely had time to use the product. You can also choose to have certain products excluded from these emails by tagging them with skip-review-request-email.
- You must first have an app installed to collect reviews from customers. We recommend using the Shopify Product Reviews app. If you do, that also means you can insert product ratings right into your email.
- When someone clicks on the button to leave a review, you can have their browser automatically scroll to the spot on the page where you can leave a review by using the reviews section anchor setting.
- This feature is only available to paid Seguno users but free users can gain access to this feature immediately if they upgrade early and start a free trial.
